China

Hexa City is a sustainable, high-density urban development designed to fulfill the needs of rapidly urbanizing communities. Making use of recent advancements in technology and lightweight building materials, the proposal maximizes the potential of sustainable living utilizing modular construction techniques in extremely dense urban contexts. Simultaneously, Hexa City revisits the fundamental principles of urban development to create a new typology—a contemporary skyscraper meant to transform the traditional cityscape. Public and private terraces along with elevated parks address the importance of green space and allow for astonishing views over the city and landscape.
