Inbursa HQ

Mexico City

Grupo Financiero Inbursa is a leader in the financial business in Mexico. To establish its headquarters, the company purchased various small tracts of land over a several year period. The program required administrative offices, art exhibition space, a cafeteria, a multi-use space and parking areas. Working within the parameters defined by the client, FR-EE implemented a rational architectural design with color as a strategy for creating a building in contrast its urban context. Blue glass projects a strongly saturated surface when viewed from the outside, but is transparent when seen from the inside, and emphasizes the banks brand throughout the city.
