The cultural center is an expression of Tulum’s dichotomy; nature and civilization. Influenced by the pre-hispanic culture and architecture, the building's form adopts the same concept as pyramidal structures, with a courtyard that generates the organization of the entire place and serves as an amphitheater.
The building site blends harmoniously and organically with the surrounding vegetation, both construction and vegetation stand at a similar height.
The main function is an art and cultural hub, which allows us to experience tensions whether ancient or modern, traditional or contemporary, static or dynamic, passive or active.
