Miami has long been considered a desirable nexus for the social elite. Its coastal properties have always been highly sought after and it has emerged as a global economic and cultural center in recent years. An influx of domestic and international investors in response to this new vitality has spurred a boom in order to meet market demand. Approached by a local developer, fr·ee’s design for a new residential building is located on the City of North Bay Village, a collection of man-made islands in Biscayne Bay, off Miami Beach. Although primarily a residential neighborhood, it remains in close proximity to the beach and the entertainment and design districts in Downtown Miami and South Beach.
